What Happens During the Challenge?
A challenge is performed in our office under strict medical supervision to determine if you have an allergy to a specific food or medication. You will be given small, gradually increasing doses of the food or drug over a period of several hours. Our nursing staff will monitor you closely between each dose for any signs of a reaction.
If an allergic reaction occurs, our team will immediately provide treatment and monitor you until the symptoms have fully resolved. If no symptoms appear after the final dose, we will continue to observe you for one to two hours to watch for any delayed reactions.
How to Prepare for the Challenge
Your health and safety are our top priorities.

What Happens During the Test?
Spirometry is a simple, non-invasive test used to measure lung function, which is essential for diagnosing and managing asthma. You will be asked to take a deep breath and then exhale forcefully into a tube connected to a machine called a spirometer. The machine measures how much air you can exhale and how quickly you can do it. This test may be repeated a few times to ensure the results are accurate.
